In the Moment

In the Moment
The light stopped
frozen in forever

Photons locked in place
Like grains of rice
in the little bags
intentions tied with ribbons
hope printed on paper

The ring caught
flung away those photons

To find the faces
Upturned sunflowers
gazing inward all
upon the couple
captured in a glass eye

The Sun lowered
Moon crested the Bay

Their duet sung in space
Universal forces
no one can fight
caught in orbits´
dance of random design

That light strikes
glinting each eye different

Paths the quanta trace
Their ordered chaos
Indecipherable
Inevitable
pulling and pushing

That path, when left
by one deflected

A different pace
And someone else
might be the sun
instead of this
discarded reflection

of her light.
